My 02' Warrior is suddenly idling way too high!!! The motor was upgraded a year ago with a 10.75:1 JE piston, white bros. mild cam, black diamond valves, HD valve retainers, mild port and polish, bead blasted head, etc... The bike runs a white bros. E-Series pipe, K&N filter, and the carb was jetted using K&N jets and needle. She was powerful and fast. The bike sat for a few months only being started every month or so with no problem. After storage, she ran strong again. All fluids are fresh, and the carb has been cleaned and looked over several times. I checked out the throttle and throttel cable, all good there. I am baffled. What could I be missing? Could it be the cam? I am desperate. Thanks!

No, not the idle screw. That is the first thing I checked. This is something serious or completely bone head. Anyone else???

You checked the choke I guess? Even if it's in the off position, it can still cause problems if one of the o-rings in it broke. Did you try it with the throttle cable completely disconnected? Look for air leaks in the intake manifold? Those are known to crack and will mess with your idle too.
