In need of a new car!!!!

He guys,

Need a freaking new car my ford sport trac is falling apart!!
Ford isn't what it used to be, my wife had a ford sport since 1996 and we just sold it and let me tell you the paint job was still like new.
My sport trac on the other hand is from 2001 and since 2004 my paint started to come off!!!!
Anyway I told the importer of ford allready that the quality of the cars suck!! even my brother inlaw has problems with his ford.
But I drove around yesterday and saw a sweet and also ugly little shoe box (Scion XB).
It's freaky, cool and ugly at the same time, I love it.
Problem is that the Toyota dealer here doesn't sell them and I can only get them second hand (here that means damaged cars from the U.S. that are fixed up).

So i'll have to see where I can find 1.

Looking for a 2005 or 2006 model.

If I find 1 i'll let you know!!

Screw those little things, I wouldn't be caught dead in one. Not to mention that if you got hit by a bigger vehigle, a vw bug for example, it would probably go flying end over end down the road until it hit something bigger, then explode! There's no way something like that could be safe or reliable.

Get another ford, just don't get one of the ones that are actually built by mazda, like the sporttracs and escapes. My escort gt was built by mazda, and the thing has been falling apart sice I bought it 3 years ago.

I just want a car that is so small that my Rappy 350 looks really big next too!!
Don't think the explosion can be that big with such a small car I think the explosion will sound like a ant farting.
I just called around and there are 2 for sale here on the Island but the 2004 model costs Naf. 29.900 = $17.100 and the 2005 model costs Naf. 31.900 = $18.300 and those are cars that where damaged. (They must be crazy!!!!)
Will be checking out the Toyota Fortuner (Diesel) later this afternoon with my wife.
Diesel here costs about half the price of gasoline so that isn't such a bad idea to go with a diesel.
The Toyota dealer even offered me a 2007 Yaris for Naf. 29.000 = $16.500 less then the 2005 Scion that is not even new.
Don't like the Yaris because those are the cars that are being stolen everyday here but will be checking around for something. Maybe a Toyota Hilux. Don't know yet will check back with you guys later.

Let's say the toyota is better known here then any other car. We have more cars here but you pay twice the money $$$$$.
The Fortuner was not bad at all for the price of Naf. 67.000 = $ 38.000 it's a real luxery SUV.
But I 'll still be looking around.
Love the Chevy sierra 1500 but getting a chevy here new is difficult or take the U.S. price and do that 3.3 times that will be the price here.
Don't think that is really cheap.

I have heard some/seen unbelievable things with the helix, as far as longevity goes. Eventhough the diesel is cheaper, they should both run the same distances w/ regular care (250k miles+) with regular care and maintenance. The only problem I've heard of w/ the Helix was some body rust, but the engine will run you forever. But if you need room for kids, then why the helix, i'm not sure if you can get it in a hatch like the four runner/fortuner (the helix is a pick-up for those that don't know)

You play video games too much. Opel makes some high end cars, but mostly they sell average priced cars, not million dollar cars.

First.. That TA makes my balls tingle MMMMMMMM I LOVE IT.
Second... XBs look kinda cool in an ugly way like you said, but they are disgustingly SLOW. I drove a supercharged one and it was pathetic. They are cheaply made also. All chinsy plastic inside and the sheet metal is like tin foil.

I should get an opel? But I'm not in Europe!!
Had 2 opels when I lived in Europe but I live in the Netherlands Antilles (this is in the Caribbean). But it doesn't matter we still have the dutch government anyway.
Opel is a nice car but it's more of a sedan type of car.

Even thou the scion xb's body is like a tin foil it will be easier for the firedepartment to get me out they can just use a can opener!!! hahaha
Or if I'm alone I can chew my way thru the body!! hahaha
I know it's not the best car in the world but I just like how it looks, can't drive fast anyway with the kids in the car and even without kids I can't drive fast because I'm on an Island so I can't go anywhere otherwise I'll be swimming with the sharks!! haha

I don't know yet what else I would like so i'll still be looking around.
