info from guys with cut fenders

i was hope yall could tell me how it does with mud now that the front fender is cut? do you notice more mud being flown up at you or did it make no difference at all? any opinions will help me decide to or not cut the fenders.

i may get an occasional splatter, but not really all that much more than when i had full fenders on the front. now if i bail into a mud hole at 30mph then i'll be good and covered.

i say go for it, but remember to measure twice and cut once.

Yupp, much more mud gettin thrown up. Also havin the +2 arms are no help either.

i have a 02 pretty much stock was goin to flip the front tires and i do ride where there a good deal of mud but i like the look of the cut fenders i see.

I agree with JonS, my old warrior had full fenders and with the newer one with cuts the only time i get anymore mud on me is high speeds. Or when i take a jump into mud, but thats a completely different story!!!LOL

i concur mine dosen't throw more mud then before but im also running a +4 font end

Whatever you choose, like Jons said, measure twice cut once!! Use tape to outline both sides to get it perfect. I think i get plastered with mud, with either full or cut fenders.

Haha, I havent cut my fenders, I actually kinda like the function of the full fender on it. Don't mind the look either. I really haven't seen much for cut fenders on a Warrior, Blaster yes but not Warriors. Anyway on a Blaster with chopped fenders your *** is drenched, muddy & nasty but hey, maybe you're into that kinda thing!

well none of us really race because its a horrible quad for it
weston does some mx but he has a 450 for that
i do mx and flat track sometimes
deadlast used to do xc

For mx you need to be in a 350-400 cc class or your just about out of luck to Win I got 4th in a beginner unlimited class with my warrior I'll go again next season im taking this season of to prepare for it

i wish we had a class like that, here its all just run what ya brung

Ya butt around here it's a 350cc max in that class for 4 stroke air cooled so I need a STD jug to run the class
