intake manifold

my intake manifold has cracked/broken twice now when i've gone trail riding . Any suggestions on why or what could be causing this .

Check to make sure all your engine mount bolts are tight, especially the mount on the top of the head.

Also make sure that your airbox is bolted on to the frame tight and that the airbox boot is turned to the correct angle so it doesn't put stress in the intake

Are you running an air box? Your carb needs some kind of rear support to help hold it in place or hold it steady. Otherwise it just shakes and vibrates back and forth and will tear/break the intake boot.
