Unfortunately I was born w/ a desire to own every Yamaha mid 90’s- 2008 sports quad. I just want to stop the bleeding at this point w/ this bike. Paid $650 needed stator. So I planned on spending another $500 to replace stator+ ALL electrical + battery. Came in closer to what I paid $650.
This thing has been stuck in the garage taking space all summer constantly under the wrench.

Welcome! Tbh what I've found with quads this old is it's best to just tear them all of the way apart and replace anything electrical, bearing or anything else that would wear. Most of these are 30+ years old and lived hard lives.

Having just bought a 650 dollar warrior thay needs all its electronics replaced I can say I feel you!
You got that one running well at this point? How far are you taking the restoration/modifications?
