Personally i wouldnt pay $3500 for it.......maybe $3000...i have seen them go for much cheaper than 3500 with a few mods on em!!

But depends on were and when you find em!!

and how bad you want it...lol

Yea i had a feeling that it was a little too much but i guess i try and justify either spending $6000 on a new z400 or a almost new raptor and saving $2500. i saw that the kbb was around $3800 but wasnt sure what you guys thought. Thanks any more input is welcome. thanks
Jason

Thats my kbb minus all the many mods and extras.....bad thing is you dont even see warriors sell for this price stock..most will part out to make the money

2001 Yamaha YFM350X Warrior

Suggested Retail Value $2705

What would you recomend i saw another guy selling one for $3200 but it had a little more ware on the bike. I am looking for a good deal but i also do not want to wait a long time and if i buy anything new it will be over $5000 since that is what the raptors sell for msrp so i would be up at about $6000 for either the raptor or the z400. The guy did not seem real negotiable on the price. I guess when i go to meet him saturday i willl offer him like 3200-3300 cash and if he still doesnt want to negotiate i will go from there. let me know what you think.

Were are you located?....I know blue book prices are different all around....Got a pic of the other for 3200?........if you offer the guy 3200 for the one in the pics and he says no..well its your choice if you want it bad enough you will pay 3500 or tell him forget it and catch a deal down the road!

Hell post a thread in classifieds and see if any off here near you are selling something

...And honestly the raptors arent all that....of course all have there opinion and all have reasons!

I am in orlando. Well i guess i am a little confused on the raptors arent all that i understand they do not have the biggest engine but isnt that what everyone has on this site is Warriors and raptors? Sure i would would like the z400 but i am trying to get a good quad for a reasonable price that i know is in good condition. I was at a suzuki dealership the other day and they had a good deal on the z400 out the door was $5900 but i could not justify paying almost $2500 more for 50cc and a year newer. Of course i would rather pay as little as possible but i want one in good condition. i looked over at the forsale board and i didnt see any. The other raptor had nerf bars and is black looks in ok condition definatly was not cleaned very well and it also has itp rims and holeshot tires but i dont really know how much it was ridden. thanks for all of your help i guess it just comes down to whether i think it is worth $3500 or not. thanks again
Jason

i take that back they both have stock rims one just has the holeshots on the rims i decent condition.

im gonna tell you right now get the z..... you get the rappy and then ride a z youll be disapointed in your self ......... power gets old quick in the worriors/raptors

Yea thanks for all of the replies i am going to go over there and offer a little less and if he says no i will probably still buy it just b/c i plan on keeping it for a long while and it is a lot cheaper than a brand new one and if it is in as good of a condition as the picture it should be worth it and i am kind of impatient and dont want to have to wait longer to find another used one.

Personally I think if your going to buy something from a dealer, bring some lube, you will need it. Regardless you'll end up walking out of there funny. I was able to get my 2001 warrior from a local guy w/ all the mods that are in my signature already on it for a little over $2100. You can see pics of it in the images section under "I was supposed to look at a quad today". If you know what to look for you can get a pretty damn nice ride for pretty cheap.

Yea that is why i have decided to buy it used. I found a good deal on a new z400 but it was still almost $3000 more than an almost brand new raptor 350 and at that the z was discounted like $1600 and was still too much and the new raptors start at $5000. Thanks for the help
Jason

thanks yea i post on atvflorida and floridaatv but floridaatv does not have any and the one i am looking at i found on atvflorida. thanks
Jason
