Is this normal?

My warrior just got a rebuild and the guy said it would smoke a decent bit to start but the first day it did not smoke at all! I loved it. Today (2 days later without starting) I start it up and a whole smoke storm pours out I changed the mixture screw a bit and it calmed down and only smokes when i get on the gas a bit or rev it but is this like blown again or just normal? I can't tell and It scares me lol.
Also want to say I did try to start it for those 2 days and my quad only starts if you give it a little gas so it may be just gas inside that was sitting?
