is this shock worth the money or can i get a better one for the same price or cheaper?

I would look around. You could probably come acrossed the same thing for less money.

My stock shock sold for a little more than that, but I knew it was in perfect operating condition and I actually took the time to clean it up good. It's your choice, but without even knowing what year it's from and not seeing the true condition of the shock because of being covered in mud i'd keep on looking.
