Almost everyone makes their jumps from dirt but since the ground is all clay, it is not good to make jumps with. Has anyone made jumps out of wood? I'm gunna see if there is any wood around the yard that I could use. I really wanna do some jumpin! :-/

well I guess that is the only question!

you can but there is a BIG chance of it breaking and costing u alot of money in damages and maybe ur life. What i would say is use dirt too like stack wood up and make the rest ot of dirt

You can make it out of wood, but it has to be good strong wood. I know of a freestyle ramp that gets constant use tha is made of wood. If you dont beleive me I have pics of it, My goal for 07 is jumping the damn thing haha, its like 3 hours away though...

it would definatly have to be strong. but the ground is all clay and that is hard **** ( and the ground is frozen )

i dont suggest wood, thats almost 400lbs. hitting it and then the force of you and it smashing down has to be around 550lbs-600lbs just wait until spring

you will be thankfull when you do

****, I had a good ramp that i used for skateboarding and that was rly strong. but too bad my dad took it to the dump. I guess i'll wait till spring..

Call up a local Dirt Dealer, and have 3 yards dropped off.

Cost ya 50 bucks, and your parent's will get some new flowerbeds out of it.

LOL, I was thinking about that. well, getting dirt from my yard, put it in my dads truck, and get my dad to drop it off down the road. He probly wouldnt do it but i'm gunna have to wait cause the ground is frozen :p
