done on the 02 leaving shocks off because my new Banshee shocks will be here tomorrow now moving on to the 01 upper bushings

Not to be a dick, but you put the bolts in the wrong way. The fronts are supposed to go in from the front, and the rear go in from the rear. The nuts will be facing each other. Don't know if that is how it was when you took it apart, and you just but it back the way you found it.
 
Not really. It is just the way it came from factory. Being a mechanic I like to put everything back the correct way so it looks like I never worked on it. Shows pride in ones work. The other thing is if the nut were to come off the bolt would be less likely to fall out. That being said, it would be good to turn the rear bolt around so the nut faces the engine.
 
yeah but on the left side the head pipe is in the way to put the rear top a arm bolt in from the back so I will turn them all so the nut is facing back then sounds good Gen thanks
