They definitely weren't designed for trails. Unless you only occasionally ride trails, i'd keep the warrior, or even get the banshee as a 2nd quad. The powerband is so funny on them that you really have to be on the clutch half the time you are in the trails, and be revving the hell out of it the whole time, or you foul plugs or stall out. The clutch doesn't last very long when you have to do that all the time. In the trails the warrior will be faster with equal riders unless they're really straight and wide trails. My cousin dave had a banshee with cool heads, forged pistons, and exhuast, and even though he would embarrass me on my stock warrior in a straight line, I could still stay ahead of him in the trails no problem, and not get tired nearly as quick as he did.
