hey guys i was wondering what tooth sproket would be best to go w/ my 20/11 back wheels??? and what is a good size tire?? i was thinkin like 22/8 or something like that?

huh???? i said 20-11 rear and 22-8 front but i meant 22-7
With a 20" tire you could get away with a stock sprocket, unless you feel your quad is lacking power somewhere, what do you like more, bottom end, or top end.

Use your judgement for the sprocket size. 20" is the stock size rear tire. If you feel that you're shifting too much, and have the power to pull some slightly higher gearing, then go ahead and try maybe a 14 tooth front sprocket. I wouldn't go any lower than the stock 13/38 setup though.

22-7-10's are a better front tire size, or even 21-7-10. I have 22-8-10's on mine, and as you can see in any of my pictures, they're wider than you need on a sport quad. A narrower tire will weigh less, have lighter steering, and less bump steer over rough terrain.

I had 22'z on my raptor at one point hated them it felt more tippy didnt slide as well but was good for trails i went back to 20'z razrs love em they slide great and have less side wall flex than the twentys did i have had 3 differnt front tires stock then went with a wider tire heres the good and the bad to me wide tire= softer ride in roung **** but tended to slide more or push in turns were as my stock size cut a lil better like i was on rails so i stayed narrow on front. But its all on what you want everyone is gonna ride diffrent and need diffrent needs ine ride quality i like mine pretty well and have tryed many other setups..And as for gearing i have 12/38 as of now i love the 12 tooth front over the the 13 i need the exta power i like shifting and putting use to 3 gears were as before i couldnt hardly use 3rd gear on any step long hills just try the 12 tooth front its just like 8-15 bucks on rockymountain so its worth trying i think you will like it but it isnt for everyone just try it out..

I hit a lot of stuff underneath so I went up to the 22 and don't regret it, I still stuck with the 20" rears though. I'd also stick with the stock front sprocket. I tried a 12T when I first got mine and I hated it. With the stock sprockets, from a dead start I can flip it over backwards in second gear. I see no nead to gear it lower if I can do that. I actually ordered a 14T today since I have plenty of power now and I'm sure I can get away with it and not loose any on the bottom end over stock.
