Ok i got it all on. i have wicked +3 Tie-rods. when i put the tie-rod ends inside the Lonestar bracket thing, it keeps going through and the tapered part doesn't stop for the cotter pin to go through. is my Lonestar ****** up? on the stock stem it stops right after the hole for the cotter pin. but on the Lonestar it doesn't. my only guesses are my ends are ****** up and worn out. or, my Lonestar is ****** up. i'm praying to god its the ends... either the holes on the tapered part on the lonestar are ****** or something. what do u guys think it is? or does one of you know what it is. but otherwise it went on easy. its in great shape so i don't think its the stem. but ill see what u guys think...

ok ill say it for now cuz my quad is in storage. the tie rod ends go into the stem. that piece welded to the stem so the tire rods go onto the stem. with the cotter pins. u with me so far? well when u crank down on the nut that holds the tierod to stem, its tapered so it will stop at a certain point. u follow? well with this tie rod with the stock stem it stopped so i could tighten it and it will line up with the cotter screws and be tight. on this stem it goes wayy beyond the cotter pin hole and squishes the rubber boot all the way down(which it shouldnt bei dont think). u kinda get what im saying?

are the tie rods on backwords are the ends different or the same by stem and by spindle?

they go upside down right. liek the thread on the top and the cotter pin on the top correct? or the other way? like threads facing upward?

yes threads point up nut on top cotter pin on top sorry

ok if anyone thinks they no the solution or something. i can text you pictures of what im talking about tomorrow. but going by words does anyone know? i really need to figure this out cuz if the stem is bad i need to try to make this guy take it back. but i doubt thats the reason tho.

my guess is the holes in the stem are wore out so they aren't tapered anymore which is why the tie rod is going to far in or the tie rod stud is wore out more than likely it's the tie rod end stud that's ******

i kinda need to know by tomorrow morning. so if anyone has had this problem or know what it could be. only things o can think of. tie rods are ****** up. they kinda worn out anyways. or my hole on the lonestar where the tie rods got are too big. which would mean i would have to get a new one -_- which i dont think is the case but....it could be soemthing totally diferent.

ok thanks yamahauler. imma see what happens tomorrow. do they have a warranty on them? if not then i got a lonestar for sale haha.

not like on the stock stem with tie rods, there tapered so that once it goes through to a certain point, it will stop and get tight. when it stops it should be right before the cotter pin hole. on the lonestar with this tierod end. it keeps going and doesnt get tight and its wayyy past the cotterpin hole. it gets tight if u tighten it all the way down but when u do that the tierod end is flat which it shouldnt be. flat meaning all squished down. i thought it may be the tie rod. ifs its not that then the holes on the lonestar are ****** up. what do u mean by spacers? like where?

ok so i put a washer under the cotter pin nut and then put the nut on. it lines up with the hole and it got tight. but the boot on the tie rod is completley squshed down. it still moves just fine. is that ok? i plan on getting +3 tie rods from asr for my wicked +3 arms. would this work? or should i just change the ends and put new ones? lmk if how it s on my bike now is ok. thanks guys
