Magneto starter

I need to find a cheap magneto starter for my 87 warrior do all of the years fit on the 87 or is it a year specific part?

Alright just wanted to make sure I knew some of the wireing was diffrent and I thought I heard something about having to switch the magneto when you switch the worong harness over to a newer year?

Sounds like you're talking about the stator. In that case, you need a specific one...

I was talking about the starter yeah and I chated with Weston about it I need the 87 specifically I think I found a good used one new ones are ridiculous so I'm not buying new

Stator the coil thing that is behind my pull start inside the case that sits inside the flywheel I thought it was a startor hahaha XD is see the no r now stator ok lolol
