So I thought I would ask for some feedback on grab bars..

As a few people on here know, I'm building a badass smoker out of my 87' Warrior.
I've been thinking about the power of the 490 motor, and how far I mounted the motor back in the frame.. It'll want to pull the front tires all the time.

So I was thinking that a beefy grab bar might save me a raspberried ass cheek, if it was beefy enuf to stop the quad from going right over backwards.

I've been thinking of making my own.
Some of the design ideas dancing in my head, are about using some roller blade wheels on it (so it doesn't get all chewed up by rocks, and such). But I would have to build it from mild steel, and it would be heavy.

That being said, whats a good tuff (aluminum) aftermarket grab bar that has some beef to it?? One that can take some abuse..

should be strong .. but i have stuffed my dg into ground lots of times and never even bent it sure its got some nicks in the bottom of the bar from pavement but its pretty strong man

Wide grab bars are where its at. I have a small AC grab for a while, hated it when I needed to move or lift the back end around. Got a Duner bar from PRM and love it. Easier to grab and lift, more leverage.
