Measurements odf A arms

Ok so here's the deal. I have some 0.25" diamond tread aluminum out here on the ship that we scrapped out. I hate to see it go to the scrap yard. So I am asking for some help.
Is there any way some one could give me the rough deminsions of the underside of the A arms for a 2000 model? Maybe the width of the frame under the engine?
Any help would be great!!!!!:tup:

Were you planing to make some skid plates out of it? Or something else..
I can't help you out with measurements, cause my 1st gen is different. But I love the look of checker plate.
Just make sure that it's thick enuf to provide adequate protection... lol (I used a big word) :leer:

Some Skid plates. Sorry for not stating that.
Maybe someone with a second Gan can help me out.
The Plate is 1/4" thick should be strong enough.

You could make all kinds of stuff with it..
A skid for your swingarm, a bumper insert.. Heck you could even make a tool box if you felt real creative.. lol

I can do the skids just need measurements.
Heading to the milling machine to have my try at it. LoL

I made a skid pad for my 1st gen out of 1/4" aluminum diamond plate. Works great.

the widest part of A arms are 9.5" and the outer narrow part is 3.5"
width of frame under motor is 12" then as you go forwardit angles inward to 5" where the rear lower a arm bushing bolts up.and the 9.5" is outer to outer in-case the arrows are confusing

and those are exact measurements so you can add a 1/8 to 1/4 for that little extra clearance

How long are the arm?
Like from the frame to the ball joint? or how ever you would cut it?
The arrows make sense, basically the inside demensions right? or is that in the center of the tube arm tube?
It looks like you got me what I need except for that one measurement.

Oh and what do you think the overall length of the engine/frame guard would be?

no I messed up on the arrows for the 9.5" dimension that is outer to outer of the tubes all the measurements are outer to outer and the length of A arms is 11"from bushing to about a half inch before the ball joint

the frame gaurd would be about 31" long that goes from just in front of the dog bone all the way to the lower front bushings on A arms

that be awesome man!! I been Down with the sickness for the last 3 days bed ridden with food poisoning from big mac lettuce at McDonald's. lost 6 pounds in 24 hours just now starting to get over it really ******* weak right now

Kind of like you rev up your lawnmower, kick on the blades, throw a chicken or two under the deck, catch what comes out and cook it up.
