I have the 38mm carb and its rele boggy in mid range. If i nail it itll go just fine but if i slowly ease on the throttle once it hits mid range it sputters and gets real boggy until i get past that point. is there anyway to make it smooth???Im running a 160 main and 55 pilot. If some one could help, it would be much appreciated! THANKS!!!!

Try leaning the needle jet position. The best way to figure out how to tune a carb is to 1st understand what each circuit in it does. Midrange is a needle position controlled area & since it's bogging I'm going to again suggest leaning the position which would be raising the clip on the needle.

THANKS! Im gonna try moving it tommorow. Ive heard people talking about moving the needle, but ive never done it. Ill check it out and see if i can move it.
