I got a HMF slip on and a K&N stock replacement air filter and my warrior ran good with the stock jets and 2 turns out on the air screw. I read on my HMF instructions the warranty was no good unless you rejet the carb. I pulled the plug and it had gone from sooty black to a cream color. I bought a 147.5 and a 150 main jet. I drilled 5 holes in the air box lid and put in the little uni filters and put the 147.5 main jet in. After that I had an occasional pop when holding the throttle steady in the mid range. It ran good at wot but popped a bunch when I rolled of the throttle. I raised the needle-lowered the clip-one notch and it popped more at steady mid range. So I went back to the middle notch on the needle. It runs good wot and idles good but still has the occasional miss at steady mid range. I see that the stock carb gets replaced by a lot of the members. Would this be a good replacement?

I searched some more and the same carb made for a four stroke is double the price. I guess I'll take the stock carb apart again and go back to the 145 main jet and start over.

I had the mikuni flatside, good performance carb but I had trouble tuning it. You need a 147.5 main and do a 45 pilot too. The lean pilot is what's causing that
