is it worth milling the head on the warriorsor just a waste of time and money, because i might possibly be doing a budget build on my warrior top-endand im throwing around ideas, any advice appreciated

if yourdoing it to bump compression the easier way to do it is just scilicone the jug gasket instead of milling it which yu cant get back if you do it this way you can go back to less comp if need be.

i did this to mine it was the same as dropping the head .039 and you still have plenty valve vlearence

Damnit! The texan ^ is quick on the draw! Yeah guy, just eliminate the gasket unless you need to take off a few thou just to true it up. I'd recommend making sure that the timing chain is still good & tight & getting a adjustable cam gear.

Dropping the head and jug down changes the cam timing. The adjustable gear allows you to get the timing back where it needs to be.

Weston i need to know what your final static compression ratio is

i never ran the volume on the head but if you can find it my deck height is .049"

i am going to see if i can run a comp test on it today but i doubt it if i do i will get back to you.

i did it to mine and im running pump gas 93 no issues

Permatex Ultra Gray is best for that application. A lot of the automotive stuff has that instead of gaskets any more.

Yup, I use that or some of the black. At our GM shop we had this gray stuff that we had to use on the Duramax, I guess it was something to do with that nasty azz diesel oil, ugh! Toyota has this black stuff that they use that's pretty badass too. Most stuff is pretty good if the surface is clean, I prefer using 2+2 or some brake cleaner on all surfaces before I put any sealed down. Even the best dealers aren't worth poop if the surface has oily residue on it.
