I just found a new minkuni racing carb and I wanted to know if they were any good... I know the stock one is a minkuni. Let me know what you guys think... well it be good with my mods?

There are quite a few mikuni carbs out there, give me a link or tell more info on it. Then I can give you some more info.
If your thinking about doing this you better start learning how to jet a carb because I didn't relise that and man it was tough at first.

This is what it says about it...

"THIS IS A NEW CARB FOR 1987-2004 YAMAHA YFM350 WARRIOR. IT IS NEW IN THE ORIGINAL BOX, THIS IS A 36 MM REPLACEMENT CARB. INCLUDES INTAKE MANIFOLD, BOOT, CARB, CABLE, AND VENT TUBS. RETAILS FOR ABOUT $200"

Thats all it say's...

Is there a pic of it? I wouldn't spend any money on it if it doesn't tell you want type of carb it is.

here is what it comes with..

Ok.. well honestly. I'd go with the kehin kit instead, it's 38mm or like something with accel pump on it. If you can get this one for cheap then I would consider it. The round slide design is pretty old and dated. It doesn't have a acclerator pump on it so it may give you a bog on the low-end. It's a pretty simple carb to jet and figure out though. The stock carb is pretty good for the warrior... if you put some time and effort into jetting it you'll find that there won't be much difference in stepping up to a different carb until you got a bunch of engine mods.

This is the one that everybody sells... White brothers RS carb kit. Actually I have the other carb they sells which is a flat slide design and accel pump. Pretty good kit.

You can always sell it back to somebody for what you paid for it if it doesn't work out for you I guess. Brock is a great carb just for that reason... easy to tune.
I'm willing to help you jet it if you get this carb.

No way. Like DS said, worth every penny. Out of all the stuff on my warrior, and that's a lot, I think the edelbrock was the single most effective and worthwhile mod I put on it. And the list of mods I have right now are:

Burgard +2+1 nickel plated chromoly a-arms | Works Dual Rate A/T Steelers | Raptor 660 rear shock | Edelbrock Quicksilver Carb | HMF Exhaust | P&P'd head | Wiseco 10.25:1 High Compression Piston | Hardstyle intake kit w/K&N | Oil Cooler | Polished PRM Grab Bar | Polished DG Alloy Nerfs | Alba Pro Elite front bumper | Reinforced DG Baja Swingarm Skid | AC Racing Full Chassis Skid | 22" Cheng Shin Shredders on polished ITP T9's front | 22" Interco Swamplites rear | 12/40 and 14/40 gearing | Trail Tech Computer | Pro Taper SE raptor bend bars | Powermadd Hand Guards | Tusk PowerPull kill switch | Polished brake and clutch lever | quick adjust clutch perch | EBC Dirt Racer clutch with heavy springs | Motion Pro Terminator clutch cable | Vesrah drilled brake rotors | Honda style chromoly tie rods and ends | MR16 Headlights

so yeah, out of all that stuff in the list, the edelbrock is my favorite

Edelbroke you can't go wrong you can use it on a motor with no mods then u can jet it(2 mins of your time) and run it on a full out race motor I love my edel
