Can anyone link me to a good cam/piston? I dont want a weisco because its forged and I dont feel like replacing it because of seizing etc... Is JE forged to? I want a piston where I dont have to do much warming up on my quad, Ive had weiscos in my sleds before and have had nothing but little performance gains and cold seizures.

And to Dave, Just because I have 37 posts doesn't mean I havent browsed the board before I became a member, post count means nothing, Just because im not a post whore doesnt mean I dont know what goes on.

No one make's a higher compression cast piston for a YFM350 motor. Every one on here that has rebuilt their motor with a high compression piston has used a forged unit, without any problems related to the piston. The sleds mostly have 2 stroke engines and do need a bit of warming, plus as long as the shop bores the cylinder to the right clearences you won't have any problems.

How much would an aftermarket cam cost? What would average installation cost, or should I say How long would it take? I dont go to high priced/dealer mechanics, I have my own at our farm and hes done all of my atv work, hes a small engine mechanic on the side so he knows what hes doing.

What is involved in doing the aftermarket cam? Do I have to replace my piston?
