Motor help

Well I am doing my tear down and this is what happened I was riding up a hill and my motor just revved up I let off of it and it just idled it was like my clutch went out, but once I tore the motor down I couldn't find anything wrong just spilt the case and looked at the tranny it's fine if I twist the main shaft from the middle of the clutch it goes to the output shaft and works if I twist the gears the motor works if I completely place the clutch and the basket should it work again?

Bet ya it popped out of forward. Did your try shifting to reverse and back to forward?

No it was nothing to do with the shifter or the linkage

I didn't have reverse or forward at first I could still shift through all my gears but then it got stuck in neutral too and I didn't find anything wrong inside the trany

5$ says the forward/reverse shifter is between gears.... It will pop out of gear and act like its in neutral. No big deal just needs the linkage adjusted. Walle would do it when I got it got till I finally got fed up and adjusted it lol

Well I have it all split and split the motor lookin for the problem lol and didn't find one so now I feel pretty dumb but I need new gaskets anyway so now I have to wait lol

The stator clutch head and jug are all the gaskets you need.

Remember to get some grey rtv silicone you will need that for the cases.
