Hello All, I'm new hear just registered. I got my hands on a torn down 1999 warrior and have done a lot of work on it. For some reason mounting the fuel tank has me stumped. It's obvious where it attaches under the seat but the mounting around the steering column isn't obvious. Are there some brackets that attach to the frame and the tank attaches to the brackets. I don't have any plastics yet so is it possible the tank mounts to the plastics. I wouldn't think so but I don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Especially a picture so I know what I need to buy if anything.

1 bolt on each side

there is a like bummed out thing on the frame with a bolt hole behind the shock mount about 7 inches ...it bolts to that

And another for the States Boys!! lol
and I even went out in the garage to take pic and upload it to photobucket then post Haha

Ok, I just went out and looked. I had seen those mounting locations before and thought that's probably it but the tank is not long enough to reach. My obvious mounting location under the seat was wrong. I was looking at the holes about 2 inches behind the ones your supposed to use. I feel like an idiot. Rebuilt most of the bike and it's running like a champ but I didn't want to ride it until the tank was secure. Many Thanks!
