RISE AGAINST IS A BUNCH OF TREE HUGGING HIPPIE CRAP! I can't stand these ******* pop bands and emo homos that call themselves rockers, it's giving rock a bad name. Hell,even bands that used to be good rock are selling out and playing this crap because it's what the kids are buying these days. I USED to be a hardcore Atreyu fan, for YEARS I was a huge fan, then they went mainstream and can't get a single track that sounds remotely like they used to.
Want to hear GOOD rock, like it was meant to be heard? Foo Fighters, Clutch, Slipknot, Sevendust, old Stone Sour, OLD Killswitch Engage, Drowning Pool, Machine Head, Pantera, Silent Civilian, 40 Below Summer, Hellyeah, Ill Nino, Deftones, Five Finger Death Punch, I can go all day with this. A lot of this new music sucks so bad, more and more i've been finding myself listing to all my old cd's because there's NOTHING good on the radio anymore, aside from a few anomalies like Volbeat and Sick Puppies, mainstream music is getting extremely difficult to listen to. Most people who truly LISTEN to music and not just hear music will agree with me, everything new is just more of the same ****, singing off key and repetitive simple riffs that are barely musical, all singing about why their life sucks even though these pricks are making millions on this garbage.
It's driving me back to country music, it's still not as good as it was 10-20 years ago but it's not as harsh on the ears as most of today's music.
