Oh you're not too far away from me, where do you ride?
(I dated a girl from Highland Lakes a few years ago so I'm somewhat familiar with the area)

Is that $400 Warrior off Craigslist? I think that's the one I almost bought, called him 6 hours after the post was made and it was sold.

Welcome mang! Thanks for finally posting up. Nice quads. I had two of them of a while too.

yea it was on craigslist back in january. the guy was from hacketstown if i remember correctly. got a hell of a deal on it. he had it up for $600 but when i went to look at it i convinced him that the electrical system was fried since it wouldnt crank over and the carb needed to be replaced cause it just poured gas everywhere. gotta love rich people who dont have a clue what the've got. hell i bought it for a parts quad and for the cost of a battery and a can of carb cleaner i got it running like a top so im keeping it as the extra bike for when my buddy comes riding

haha YES that is the quad I wanted to buy... you stole it from me :(

Good thing you did or I would have not built frankenstein.

Dang i guess i got a killer deal on mine $600 and nothing wrong with it except the seat!! lol

got a nice suprise today when i was doing some matinence today. the caliper bracket nearly ripped completely off the housing. hell if i know when how it happened

No biggie that can be rewelded... might smoke the bearing but it will work temporarily at least.

On another note, no seals?

my brothers warrior had that happened, but i had some guy weld it up when he welded the frame on my mud truck and its still holding, but the fourwheeler itself has been broken down for at least two years now so its not being used. but yea im not sure what really made it break though

Bottoming out on the caliper bracket pretty hard would do that. I'd imagine the leverage from that would snap it.

no i have the seal i just popped it out in preperation for welding it. hopefully going to get it welded up today and then plate over where the carrier ripped with some 1/8inch plate so it dosent happen again. what sucks is if the bearings ever go bad its gonna be like a 99% chance itll have to be replaced cause i wont be able to press the bearings out
