My dad issue--my problem......

ok dad called and his lawnmower took a ****, its a 12 hp. He said it kicked over blew a **** load of smoke n quit. Now im told oil comin out exhaust n oil is more than likely got gas in it....real thin.....what blew????

Could be that the crankcase filled with fuel from carb issues, and all that extra fluid has to go somewhere. So it gets pushed past the rings and is burned into the cylinder. Could be that the plug is fouled from it, and only needs to have the oil changed and new plug installed.

check the easy **** first like compression unless it doesn't turn over but if not seized then change oil and plug but check the compression first after changing the oil

ok cool hauler, and yes it still turns over, but pumpin **** outta exhaust, ill go thru the basics in morning....i was on beastlys thoughts-catrastropic failure=oil blowin by rings, camshaft ****** but its def worth checkin into,it run fine when put away last week. makes sense! **** i hope so i got 1 more day of sandblastin n i want it 2 b tomorrow!!!!:argh:

How to thank you genpat and yamahauler!!! :thanksopped the air cleaner and carb was full to top, I dumped oil or i should say gas! pulled float bowl, appeared to work fine, put oil in, new plug, crnked and valla!!!:tup: never even checked compression. it had to have gotten something in float and made it stay open, although i didnt see/find anything....its mowing as we speak. ty ty ty ty. ok know back to my girl...i did get harness off, just gotta pop the motor n start blasting........kinda hard with TALLADEGA on thou:argh:
