i had a friend (who has more money than me) tell me i better get the 1080p or else i would regret it... the 960p is $179 and the 1080p is $299... your video really makes me wonder if its worth 100 dollars... make me a video at night.. im really curious about that because thats when i do my "serious riding" and well have the best chance of catching something amazing hahaha

1080 is where its at. HD all the way. They have the litho battery's and the auxiliary port, so in teh future you can wear the remote "screen watch" or even now you can buy a screen that clips n the back and actually see what your watching. Clearer picture and sound.

But the Hero is badass too! Any type of ridin vid is worth a watch.

I had the gopro hero 5 that's the one your saying is 170 the pixels are 520x380 I just bought a hd hero 1080 for 180 from where I work but you can find them on eBay for 230 ish. But currently I'm waiting on a new lens as I kinda smacked the lens at 50 mph with my snowmobiles a- arm
