The Honda dealer down the street from me has a brand new 1987 Honda 250R, with tags and all still on it. One of the dealers bought it brand new 19 years ago and never even started the thing, now it sits in the show room for display, he claims he's gotten offers of $20,000, but refuses to sell it. When I seen the thing I went up to it and was like what the hell.

he refused to sell it for 20 grand. WHAT A ******* IDIOT! he could buy 2 ****** brand new banshee's and still put some mods on them..

I wish I could go out riding.. it has rained EVERY fricken day here.. muddy as hell. nice lookin yfm and 250r!

You're obviously looking at this from a 14 year old's point of view, which is "how much money is it worth?" and "what could I get with that money." If it was mine there's no way I would have sold it either. A 19 year old machine that's never been started or rode is so insanely rare to begin with, and being that the 250r is one of the best known, respected, and influential machines of all time, it could probably easily bring more than 20k any day of the week. Plus that thing is an investment. It'll probably be worth double it's current value in another 10 years.

You know I never thought of that, tomarrow I'll go down and snap a few, you will never be able to believe it. It is red and white. This is no small time dealer either, its a big power sports Honda dealer.

ya i am 14 and im looking at it from a 14 year old kid point of view and your right dude but that would just kill me to have such a nice quad and never ride it! Different people would do different things in that situation. If it was mine it would be a hard decision to keep it locked up for years, or ride it, or sell it.

My friend got this raced out 250r like a month ago and is scared shitless of it hes been riding like since he was 5 and still cant haddle it. But hes a dumb ass and is going to try and race it this summer(going to die). He crashed it last week into a blaster doing 50 and the blaster a dead stop around a corner. His helmet flew off, got a concussion, bent his frame, the passsenger broke 3 ribs and got a cuncusion too. It was pritty funny to watch though.
