wondering if anyone has a oil cooler radiator lying around I am having 1998yamahawarrior do the clutch cover mod for me and I need to find a radiator for the system I am gonna just be using regular rubber lines with hose clamps if anyone has one pm me pics and price I can get an
2003 ARCTIC CAT 300
oil cooler radiator for $27 on ebay or a universal 12 3/4 inch by 5 inch for $30 but that one might be to big to fit I would like to find something around $20 shipped

im thinking that will be my next mod when i have the money since the hot ass dog days of summer are coming up. Im curious tho, it is as simple as modding the cover and putting long enough lines to cooler or is there more to it than that?

just talk to 1998yamahawarrior he will tell you everything you want to know man

Its that simple, the hardest part in doing clutch cover oil cooling is modding the cover. If when drilling the second hole you are more than about a 1/16 off of center of the galley your ruining a clutch cover. Very small margin of error, when doing that hole. Thats the main reason I started modding them for people, I got really good at hitting it everytime!!!

Got mine from summit, $40 shipped. Came with hose, clamps, and coller mounting ties.

Picked up my oil cooler from Advance Auto today only $27 and came with everything just gotta wait for Anthony to finish modding my clutch cover and we'll be in business and about 50 degrees cooler engine then I can do the clutch steel mod too just gotta pick up a gasket.

You'll be super happy with how cool it is going to run. I did the big bear mod and it has to be running ATLEAST 35 degrees cooler.

I was also thinking about getting the steel braid to go over the rubber lines to protect them from rubbing on the frame

I was going to suggest that you do that. Your lines are higher than mine so they are more out of harms way. I also have nasty bryers that will cut you wide open to worry about. If you look at my qotm pic you'll see I used the steel braided lines and made my own skid plate that is 2" wider than the frame to protect them from rocks or stumps.

yeah I think that's my next to do thing is get rid of that tic tac toe belly skid and get a nice piece of aluminum to take it's place
