Well im about to order up a set of new front tires and i need some input from everybody. I dont race my machine its strictly trails so keep that in mind

some people have told me about some "bandits"?

I wouldnt waste my money on the holeshots. Maxxis front pro's are good tires and cheap as hell. I havent had a single problem with mine and they sure look like they would have a better bite than holeshots.

if you dont want to spend the money go with kendas. if you want the best get holeshots.

the things that are said really are true.

xcrs and hd fronts handle so good. if you want the best then get the best. dont go halfway.

For trails i know which one looks better for sure

My point is he doesnt race, holeshots cost 20 dollars more a tire and the performance diffrence would be so small between those 2 it doesnt make sense to spend the extra money for the hd's. Holeshot's are great tires, if your really willing to dish out the cash for them. But for trails the cheaper front pro's would perform with the best of them, maybe even outperform standard holeshots due to the wider lug spacing/faster clean out. I run the front pro's they are great, great traction in everything mud/gravel/snow etc.

I agree with dsw. Holeshots are also notorious for wearing really quick. Klaw fronts would be good too.

i own holeshots, and i agree with dsw, if you need something for the trails, and to last you long, go for the cheaper price, holeshots will waste fast, i dont know much about the front pros, but they seem to have plenty of thread, go for the cheaper price, save some money, and then buy another mod. ;)

an hd or xcr will not degrade like a normal tire. the wear is excellent and your probrobly better off spending 15 bucks more because thats the money for other tires to be plugged....

of course get whats in your budget but if you have it get the holeshots..you wont be sorry.

what is the name of the bottom tire in those 2 pictures? i like those ones

what ply are the pro's ....i got the xcr's because they are 6 ply, and for trails, thats important. Mine havent even started to wear yet...and ive had em for over 5 months.

how about the kenda front max?? i have had mine for about 8 months now and they are wearing great and turn awesome. I know they arent the most known tire but just look at the pattern and you can tell they will turn well. I got both of mine for right around 80$ for the pair through Rocky mountain and have had no regrets. Heres a pic of them on my warrior
