need help please with my 05 raptor 350

I recently got my 05 raptor 350 and it has a brand new carb on it about 3/4 throttle it spits and sputters backfires and trys to die. Gas pouring out the airbox side of the carb and white smoke out the exhaust. Can someone please help me a little thanks

float is sticking or the needle is not seating. crack open the carb and see whats going on in there.
