Just got the beast fired up. The carb has the e20 needle in it and it run RICH. Does anyone have a suggestion as to which needle i should run with the following mods:

Wesico 10.25:1 piston
Hot Cam Stage 1
Ported Head w/1mm over valve
FMF Mega-Max II

I have the 16, 19, and 20 needles.

Drop down to a 19, or 18 whichever you have, the ported head and larger intake valve is making it run richer cause it can take in more fuel.

I'd try an 18 or 17 if it's really rich. You can try the 19, but I don't think one size down will correct a serious lean condition.

Unfortunatly, i don't have 17 or 18. And i have no idea where to get replacements. I'm sure an 18 would be money, but i'm gunna have to try the 19 for the time being. It's still gunna be a week till it's moving. The swingarm is getting done as is the rear axle. Plus i have to wait for my dyna to get here.

You will need a 17E more than likely, the 19 and 20 were insanely rich for me also. Be prepared, they cost $13 a piece (or a few cents less). You may try the 16E that you have, but it ran slightly lean for the mods that I have and made the headpipe turn slightly red. I just ordered my 17E and 18E a week ago and the dumb **** sent me a 19E on accident. I had to return it while he sent me the right one. The 16E should work for you if you're not bored over much.
