Pickup Coil:
Red to White: 459-561 ohm

Source Coil:
Brown to Green: 270-330 ohm

the wire harness is on the left side of the case

Great thanks for the info will check tomorrow

Can I test this in the quad or do I have to remove it?

There's wires coming out of the case right above the shifter. There's a wiring harness you can test the coils from

Ok did the test red to white 488 brown to green 294 also what are the 3 white wires for that come out of the cover

Also I should have said my battery is stone dead could this be part of the problem also that fuseable link the one side of it the wires are broke I going to have to get one of the now where do I go from here?

well, now you know the charging system on the bike is good. get a new battery, fix your "fuseable link" wiring, and ride. might also want to look at a good float charger (ie. Battery Tender, NOCO, etc.)

Do you think dead battery was the problem when I had it running the meter was not showing that it was charging also how do I check if my neutral switch is good ?

can you get a pic of the wiring your talking about?

your battery is Toast. Stators weren't ever meant to charge a battery. they are there to keep a battery fully charged wile its being used. when these kind of batteries discharge(lose charge) that much they start to break down chemically. most times you cant revive them.

get yourself a new battery and a good float charger to make sure the battery is 100% all the time. that will ensure the life of your battery.

The white wires are coming out the stator cover also is there a way to check to see if the neutral relay switch is good thanks

Those white wires are for the charging coils. That's where you want to test the resistance to see if they are OK. 3 pronged plug. Both charging coils should be between 0.70 - 0.86 ohms.

I forgot about the charging coils before anyways. I believe there will be three and you check the resistance between all of them
