But in all honesty, if they'll physically bolt to the foot peg.. You should be able to make them work?

You have to consider length, and width.

You could always drill holes in the mount to the foot peg.
If the length doesn't interfere with any moving parts of the frontend. You could cut out the center section, and make a slug style mount to the lower frame.. Just drill holes in either side of the bars, and tap threads for a stop bolt on either side..

Just an idea.. I dunno if that would really work or not?
 
You have to cut about 2 to 2 1/2 inches out of each side or the front tires will rub. They bolt up to the pegs fine but you have to make a new front frame mount. Not too hard but takes some welding and lathe work to make it nice.

The ones I used had the front mount broken so I wasn't out much. They were pretty decent, though and it was tough when I took that first chop saw cut. After I mounted them the final time, it was all worth it.
