it seems like every time that i'm out riding, i can never get it back into neutral. it never fails that as soon as i pull it back in the garage, it hits neutral with no problem. we put in a new neutral switch about 15-20 hours ago. any idea what could be causing the problem?

it's been adjusted over time. once when we put the entire quad back together and then again when we put the ebc in it. i'll give it a shot though. i might **** with it next time i'm out on the trails and it does it. thanks for the input

what kinda oil ya runnin? I was runnin some **** before and could never find it unless I was shifting to 2nd. I use amsoil now and never have any troubles.

the oil that i've been running in it is yamaha brand (i believe). i've noticed also that the angle can screw with it. maybe i need to rock it a little bit to see if that helps.

i have the same problem on mine somtimes it will be a bitch and wont go into to it but then other times its easy i find it easier to get it into it give it a shack back and forth real quick or if you really cant get it in turn it off its alot easier i dont no when mine wont go in thats what i do . hope that helps in someway?

its because if your at a incline it puts pressuer on your chain and transmission therefore making it hard to pull out of neutral

it also maybe ur heating ur clutch up... thats the same thing that was happenin to me when i was up in the mountains in PA... i always had to turn it off in gear because of that... i have to get a new clutch anyway so ill let u noif that changes it...

i hope that my clutch isnt overheating. i was having the same problems with the original clutch. it's not the incline problem. what happens is that it goes immediately into second. i've even tried shifting it into neutral with my hand and moving the shifter as easy as possible.

The clutch is just dragging a little. Mine does it sometimes when the engine gets hot, but usually if I rev the engine a little it'll go right in. Give that a try if you didn't already, just rev the engine a little and see if that makes a difference.

Also, it's expensive as hell, but maybe try using a higher quality oil, Amsoil seems to be the best thing out there.

ive had the same problem many times when my fourhweeler heats up. sometimes it is easier to shut the quad off and than put into nuetral.

Mine is always easier to shift into N or....to switch out of reverse by shutting it off.

Clicks right in.

Pain the the ass....but from everything I've read Warrior's are known for it.
