My bro was telling my that our uncle had his carb rebuild by an atv mechanic and the mechanic told him that with this crappy new gas they well us you should turn your gas off and leave your quad running to burn it out of the carb every time even with gas sabilizer. Thought I would share with everyone maybe it will help maybe not but I'm going to do it, it's easy enough to do and could save a carb clean later on.

that mechanic must be smokin some ****. ive never had an issue, my warrior sat 2 years before i got it and when i went to rejet it 6 months later it was clean as a whistle. ill still just stabil and leave it.

here in oregon they changed the gas now there is ethaol in it which I know is bad especially for small engines. I use stabil myself but I'll still do it just incase.

there is 2 places within 20 miles of my that sell non ethanal gas and it cost $1.00 more a gal. the atv and saw shops sell additives so stop the ethanal problem. It really sucks

yeah, least drain it out if you plan to park it for a while. It really will save you some time and keep that carb clean from grimy gas goop.
