Hi guys,
My name is Tim, 40 year old guy from northern NJ. Been into bikes and quads all my life. A couple buddies have Warriors, and I buy and sell bikes for a living, so when I was contacted about a 1988 Husqvarna 430WR, 1983 Honda XR500R & a 2001 Warrior, I had to go check it out. The Warrior was a complete basket case, non-runner, and ended up being a "throw in" for $50. 3 weeks and $1200 later, I've got me a real nice quad.

Plus all the usual labor such as adjusting the valves, jetting the carb (50/155 runs great with this set-up), rebuilding the rear caliper and master cylinder, etc etc etc. It came with a few nice little upgrades such as the DG aluminum bumper, rear suspension adjustment block, Dura-Blue front spacers, thankfully the shocks and front brakes were excellent to begin with. I still have to get headlights & a tail light on it, and even having to lug my 245 lb. butt around, it's still got plenty of bottom end and could probably use a 16T front sprocket for a little more top end and less shifting.

Nice list man, I have spent on fortune on my builds as well, For sure addictive once you get started. Are you done with it or are you gonna add more to it?? If so we have a build progress section you might be interested in making one or checking out other builds.

I'm done with it for now aside from still needing the headlight assembly and a tail light. Come spring I'll be buying a muffler for it, and maybe front fenders with a little more meat on 'em, and that's about it. I'm just going to ride it until the motor needs to be rebuilt and then I'll weigh my options as far as upgrades go.

I certainly understand, I refuse to tear into my motor until something fails and when that does happen I will upgrade the motor. Right now mine is fine no problems whatsoever so I cant complain.
