Hey everybody. Finally joined after lurking and finding an EXCESSIVE amount of useful information. This place has helped me do quite a bit.
I traded my 87 Suzuki LT230 for an 89 Warrior. Lower right control arm had apparently taken quite a blow and completely broke the ball joint out. Replaced that. The other side had a missing tie rod end and mount...Not sure how that happens. Robbed the tie rod end from an LT230 and got the mount from eBay. So it rolled on it's own at that point at least. Fired it up and took off and bogged down at 1/2 throttle. Got ballsy and took the carburetor off and found the main jet laying in the bowl. Put that back in, ran for a while, and did it again. Took it apart and found a small metal shaving in the main jet. Runs like a damn champ now!
And all the carburetor information came from right here on this forum.
This is my second warrior, I had a mid 90's back in high school.
And since I'm introducing myself anyway, I have a Suzuki LT230 that someone has removed the stock engine from and swapped in an 86 GS450L street bike engine to. I'll get pictures of it on here at some point. It's really only good for really fast straight line runs. Haha I'll be selling/trading this off soon.
Anyway. Thanks to all who make this site what it is. I spend waaaayyy too much time here everyday.
