Hey guys

Just like to introduce myself. Recently stumbled across a Warrior project that my dad got for free. I'm away at college so I haven't had a chance to see it or take pictures yet, but hey, you can't afford not to get if it's free, right? :iagree:

I just got off the phone with him and apparently this beast runs. All he did was put fresh oil, gas, air filter, spark plug and a battery and it cranked right away. What a champ lol.

I usually ride my baby, a 1986 TRX250r but this warrior will be a nice little woods tank to carve some trails and what not.

As with any project, I'm in need of some CHEAP parts. If anybody has any of the following respond to this thread or shoot me a PM.

I need:

Cheap, used, aftermarket front bumper
Rear brake caliper
Cheap but decent plastics, not sure about shipping those so I live in Iowa.
Seat cover or just a whole seat

And any other goodies you guys might wanna sell me!

Also< What are some cheap upgrades from other quads that might work like shocks? Trying to keep this thing on the cheap side if you cant tell!

Wecome to the site!!

Check out the for sale section at the bottom of the index page, lots of stuff on there

Welcome man. SHocks off a banshee are the same, as long as most of the aftermarket ones. Banshee, or 01 raptor rear shock is a nice upgrade.

Welcome to the site. Basketcases are fun!! Thats how I bought Jar-Jar, well traded for something I got for free!! LOL

Where are you from in Iowa, Im just across the river from dubuque.

Nice! I live just north of Guttenburg, my sister actually goes to school at UD. I saw the Jar-Jar build on youtube and that's how I ended up here. That picture when someone suggested your bike looks like Jar Jar Binks is great, it really does!

Ya that was Deadlast. After he siad it I looked up a pic of Jar-Jar and there was no denying it, so it stuck. So your less than an hour away from me, maybe I can finally get a midwest ride going(only been trying to for 2 yrs). Your also not the only person that found there way here, because of my vid. I guess making the little plugs for the site in it worked in our favor!! LOL

BTW if you stay around the site, watch for a thread for my FIL's summer mud party. Its a blast and anyone can come!!

We went to Dubuque 2 years ago. Cool town.

Welcome and Enjoy.

I have a seat with perfect foam on it. the cover is old and has a small tear, but a new gripper cover is never a waste of money.
