Recently bought a non-running but complete warrior and thought I would join the forum.

I grew up riding some motocross but got in to cars later in life. I have been drag racing GM based cars for many years now but got the bug to go riding again. Picked up an 97 XR250R early this year and enjoy it but wanted a quad too.

I picked this quad up for 500 and its in really good shape.

It has been sitting in a ladys garage for the last 5 years. It has some after market parts... beed locks up front, nerf bars, DG bumper, older super trap slip on, bark busters, carb has been re-jetted to 147.5.

I got it running this week after replacing the intake boot and going through the carb. Runs great but I either have a noisy timing chain or rod bearing going bad.

Im going to inspect the chain tomorrow and will go from there...

Looks like a great forum.

Welcome to the forum man. You got a killer deal on that warrior. Btw the valves on these things are really loud, so you might just be hearing normal noise.

Thanks for the welcome. I think I did Ok on it as long as what I'm hearing is normal or a semi-easy fix. I did adjust the valves today and they were only slightly loose. No change is noise after. Ill post up in other other section my findings tomorrow.
