Ended up with a used FMF pipe from Craigslist - only $70 including shipping. Hopefully it was a good deal.

Anyway, read the carb rejetting process and ended up order main jets 150, 152.5, 155, 157 and 160 to start with along with the Uni airbox vents. The bikes does need to be rejetted since it will not take throttle now from idle= hard throttle and backfires through the pipe. I now know why they have spark arrestors - That was prett cool looking ;D It also has a uni filter and outerwear on it.
I will start the rejetting process when they arrive next weekend hopefully following the tutorial on the site.

Oh yeah my question is........When I installed the pipe the head pipe seemed loose in head? Is this normal? Do I need to purchase a new gasket for that end? I am pretty sure I clamped the slip on tight enough to the head pipe since it will not take a gasket in that area. Just concerned about the head end leaking? It is a 97 model.

Something's not right, the header shouldn't move at all when it's sealed up and bolted down properly. Did you take it off at all, or was it loose when you took the stock one off?

Also, you may end up needing a 147.5 man jet instead of those bigger ones, the FMF Megamax pipes really don't flow a whole lot more than the stocker.

No, I all I did was unbolt the rear part of the pipe and once I had it loose, the front flopped around. I thought that might be a problem. Guess I will take it off and get a new gasket for it as well.

Also found a broken motor mount on the top. Either it was this way when I bought it or from jumping it last weekend. Oh well, I bought it to have fun with. Nothing a welder cant fix, its only an atv, not rocket science. ;D

Ya think the 150 jet is too much? Even opening up the air box? I have not friggen idea just kinda followed the tutorial and looked at a jet kit from jets r us. I ordered from Chaperall. Not going to break the bank ordering jets just needed a starting point. Let me know your thoughts.

The 150 might be ok for the colder weather, but from my experience, it's going to be too much when the weather warms up again. There's a lot of variables other than the mods though, so heck, I could be wrong and you may need something bigger than a 150, I just doubt it.
