hi guys im new to the forum and am not quite sure where to put this but i was wondering what engine can i put in my 1994 warrior i dont have lots of money also i have been looking for a left side engine case because im doin a complete rebuild ill put some pics up soon

cheers trailhound

Any engine you want. Just takes some fab work.

well said, tho im afraid the orginal poster didnt quite get the point....

you could put a dodge viper engine in a warrior if you wanted, you would just have to build a custom frame and completly change everything...

what motor bolts right in? NONE!... well maybe something like a big bear 350 would bolt in but thats not what your are looking for....

you might have something along the lines of a banshee engine in mind... and yes you can make it fit, but youll need EXPERIENCE, a welder, a grinder, a bunch of other tools and LOTS of time

thanks heaps guys i wanna get into mx racing like jumps and woops and other stuff i did have a banshee motor in mind but my dad said no to a 2 stroke i was thinkin a yfz 450 but my dad aslo said it wold be cheaper to get a 466 big bore kit what do ya think?

No...

if you are planning of stuffing a 450 motor in it it is going to be cheaper and easier to just get a 450 instead of piecing a Frankenstein machine together but if you want to Frankenstein it go for it!

just my .02

I'd have to agree with Weston, the cool factor of a YFZ Warrior hybrid is off the charts but not cheap or simple unless you could find a totally trashed YFZ with a running engine & good electrical. Honestly, I'd love to doit b/c I just like that kind of stuff.
For the 446, it'll be cool & make good power, just not the kind of power that a 450 Will make, especially a Modded 450.
A Banshee engine would be cool but I doubt very easy to do, so many people forget one of the most important parts of a smoker....it's exhaust, it's critical, period. A Warrior chassis was never designed to fit the size exhaust that a smoker needs to perform properly, much less twin pipes, Lol! Can it be done? Yes. Will it likely look like a hackjob mess? Prolly, atleast unless you're a very talented fabricator.
Don't forget cooling it,..... Clearance for the kick starter, etc, etc. A Warrior is & always Will be a trail bike man, they can be Modded to do lots of stuff but it's a trail machine @ heart & that's what it's design was based around.

hey guys i got a problem with my other warrior its been backfiring and i dunno what to do i have put a jrs racing pipe on it and i thought this was the problem so i put the stock exhaust back on but it still backfires
