???Well i got my warrior running after 3 months of waiting to find and install clutches and got it running on dec 4 a thursday night and skipped skool the next day, to go ride all day, and i did and it cranked and started and ran like a raped ape:). but later that nite wen i went to start it up i would fire all it would do was crank the starter. We have just put a new CDI box on it and a new coil and still no spark or fire, today we replaced the plug thinking it would be something simple and yet it still wont fire what could be the problem please help me. any opionins or advice would be apreciated:)

Get a service manual and follow the instructions to check to see that the stator and pickup coil are within specs.

You still need to check that the stator is within specs. The service manual explains how to do this and what the resistance should be on each loop. On yamahas the stator is more often the problem than the cdi is.

Greg is right on this one. Go and check stator pickup spec's. If there ok then move on to like the ignition coil and on/off switch.

yeh thanks guys :) well we checked all the wires going into the stator with a test light and they all seemed fine but there was no power coming out of the stator do we just went ahead and ordere a new stator.thank you guys for all your help i will keep you informed on further results :) :)

A test light isn't going to tell you anything with a stator. You actually have to measure the resistance with a multimeter and compare those numbers to the specs in the manual.

Hopefully a new one fixes the problem.

yeh true.but we put a new one in and it still didnt fire xo we got sic of working on it so we took it to a shop and hopefully they can figure out what is wrong with it. but thank you guys for all your help. :)

ehh sounds like something other than it needing a high performance stator. The stock stator should be able to handle that no prob. Most of the time people go to high performance stator to add more/brighter lights or something of the like.
