no voltage

hey i'm a newb here but i've ridden warriors since 94, i am having a wierd problem with my coil . i am not getting 12 volts to the coil, is this normal on the warrior? on my motorcycle i have 12 volts at the coil, i did a continuity test on the orange wire from the coil to the CDI and ther are no breaks in the wire . i have got no voltage out of the CDI on the orange wire? however i do have 12 volts into the CDI. any help would be great , thanks.

sounds like you might have a bad cdi

damn, i was really hoping that it wouldn't be , but that's what i have been thinking it was, do you have voltage at the coil with the key in the on position on you're warrior ? also if any of you guy's have a 97 CDI that i can buy, i would be grateful. thanks
