Lately been riding in sand/mud/water nearly up to the seat. Oil changes are necessary at this point regularly, yes?

I'm getting back my wheeler Sunday with a winch install and have new oil and filters ready to go.

Opinions or sources on the oil changes?

Like how often, etc. esp for water stuff.

FYI: These little water pits can go exhaust deep if you're not careful. Also when the rain season comes soon (FLORIDA) these are gonna get deeper.

I'll post a pic here for reference in a bit.

That is my friend, not me. We had to winch him out and change his oil and spark plug.

Anyway, this is gonna be my riding spot for the time being. I hope to not go that deep but I did get deep enough to get stuck enough to have to get pushed out by another guy's wheeler.

Any thoughts are welcome.

BTW I don't have to ride in the water, there's lots of trails here and the dirt is just as fun to drive on for me.

Unless you submerge it, you can just change it by guessing the amount of hours on it. If I remember right, the rule of thumb is 25hrs between changes. I usually change mine every 3 months. More often if I use the **** out of it. You may want to make sure that your crankcase breather is up high on the frame. That way it doesn't get debris in it.
