Oil for 1999 warrior.

I don't have a manual for the warrior I was just given. What oil weight do I run?

i think i was running 20w40 in my 99 when i had it. i prefer yamalube but that castrol 4t works really well too.

I run Rotella T 15w-40 Diesel Oil in mine. It's cheap and works great. There's a few guys on here that run it.

Yep. Rotella 15-40. $13 a gallon at Walmart.

I always run Pennzoil 10w-30 in mine make sure It's wet clutch compatible

So it says 2.5 quarts to fill it. Is that for for the whole engine? The clutch isn't seperate is it?

No same fill hole for both i got some regular formula 1 atv oil for mine at walmart.I try to stay away from anything synthetic but that's a preference thing i think.diesel 15w40 works well too as long as it doesnt say engine conserving! It has some crap in it that makes your clutch slip.

Another Rotella 15w40 user here, with the engines primary cooling being air a diesel oil at that weight is perfectly fine! Not to mention if your anal about changing your oil alot, it wont break the bank.
