I run 10w40 Royal Purple Full Synthetic Oil and I have a leak (sweating) on my head gasket only a little oil though; should I switch back to conventional oil since it may stop the leak? and is it OK if I do switch from synthetic to conventional?

1st off, you CANNOT run regular motor oil in a quad. It has additives in it that will destroy your clutch. You have to run wet clutch compliant 10w-40. anything labeled Motorcycle oil or atv oil should work.
2nd you need to replace your head gasket. No oil will fix it.

I run royal purple but its for wet clutches of course didn't mean to make any confusion

I usually run Rotella 15w-40
