Oll change, is this normal???

Changed my oil today and found this little net ful of debris...
No experience with bikes, sorry if this is a dumb question...
Its kind of mettalic/cloth debris is it from the clutch?

i would think that was part of the clutch fibers. although, there is quite a bit of it. do you do regular oil changes?

First oil change. I bought the bike and started to rebuild the next day.
I did a 5 hour ride yesterday.
The clutch doesnt slip, but the motor is way out of tune, need a new exhaut and intake manifold and jet it. But i know that this doesnt relate to the debris found.

the previous owner was a complete PIG, if its cluth fibers, then this means that he just adds oil instead of changing it.

I'd probably change the oil again just to clean it out. Was it sitting for a while before you bought it?

I think thats attached to the case inside. If not, I'm missing it too. Not important I'd say. Hell, I didn't have a screen and spring for the longest time!

That's rough bud, flush it and change again Shorty just to see what's doing I inside there but from tour explanation in thinking clutch. Be prepared to buy one, Driveline Performance makes a pretty nice one reasonably priced.
