Painting Exhaust

If I remove the exhaust to paint it will I need a new gasket? I plan to use a high temp header paint.

you shouldn't if if not beat to crap look for cracks but if your taking it off prob wont hurt to replace but not major if its not messed up

Ive used the high temp header paint before and it turned out pretty good on a stock exhaust. I would go ahead and replace the gasket while you have it off, they are around 5 to 8 bucks depending where you get them at. What kind of paint are you gonna use?

I used ultra high temp paint good to like 1500 degrees or so. had to cure it in the oven!!! shhh the wife still doesn't know!!! Lol
