the shocks are very easy, you just run the adjustment all the way to un-compres the spring, you can pull off the retaining collar, then you have it, don't forget the order you pull all the pieces off the shaft, you can use green scuff pad to scuff everything up as well as clean the aluminum, I was gonna polish the aluminum but decided it would take too long, if i ever disassemble, i will polish
